Experienced choreographer and teacher; Laveen is a former member and director of the acclaimed Dance Theatre of Harlem where he performed and taught internationally. He is a noted educator, choreographer and teacher whose works have been commissioned by DTH and The J.F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Laveen couples a deep knowledge and passion for dance with his commitment to using the arts as way to empower students and build community.
